Which Cordless Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw Do I Use Every Day?

The DeWalt 20V MAX seven and a quarter inch double bevel sliding miter saw is the one that is always in my truck and used pretty much daily.

It saves me so much time and effort for small trim projects, as I set it up on a small table or the tailgate of my truck to cut precise trim pieces quickly without the need for a cord.

The working time of a fully charged 20V MAX Battery is actually very good, and when the going gets tough, I can switch out 20V Max for a 60V Flex Volt battery, which usually lasts longer than I need to use the tool.

It is very reasonably priced for such a handy tool. One can be purchased or several if you own a small remodeling company and need one on each of your service trucks.

What is a Miter Saw You May Ask?

Miter saws are handy woodworking tools created for cutting various construction materials such as lumber, siding, flooring, or even solid surface splash guards.

What Blade Should I Use?

The quality of the project relies on using the correct type of blade for the job. Miter saws are most commonly used for crosscutting, which is why your miter saw needs an excellent crosscut blade. For best cross-cutting results, choose a blade with a high tooth count so that you can achieve smoother cuts.

The Dewalt cordless saw fits a seven and a quarter-inch blade, a typical size with easy availability at most stores.

The blades come in a lot of different varieties. For example, you can get precision blades with 60 teeth that allow for extremely clean cuts in wood with minimal chipping of high-end materials.

Blades with 24 0r 36 teeth are great for cutting common lumber sizes such as 2 X 4’s or 2 X 6’s. However, in my experience, using blades with a higher tooth count seems to use more juice, and battery life is slightly shorter.
